Board of Trustees

The American University of Kurdistan’s Board of Trustees consists of twelve members, all leading figures in government, business, and education, with the primary responsibility of guiding the long-term strategy of the University and
providing oversight of its finances and operations. Meeting twice during the academic year, most of the Board’s work is accomplished through committees that relate to six functional areas of the University: Academic Affairs and Student
Life Committee, Admissions Committee, Communications Committee, Facilities Committee, Finance and Audit Committee, and the Institutional Advancement/Development Committee.
