
Mohammed Namuq, Ph.D.
Mohammed Ali Namuq is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering of the College of Engineering of the American University of Kurdistan. He has a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering (with a special focus on drilling engineering) from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany, a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (with a special focus on drilling and production) from the Clausthal University of Technology in Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Baghdad University in Iraq. His research interests include wireless methods for data transmission in boreholes (with a special focus on mud pulse telemetry systems), casing milling, and hydraulic fracturing. His current research work is on intelligent drill pipes for data transmission in boreholes.
