Hussein Zekri, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor, Architectural Engineering
Hussein Zekri belongs to the academic staff of the College of Engineering. He completed his PhD on fluid-structure interaction in the United Kingdom, at the University of East Anglia in 2016. He earned both his Master of Science degree and his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Duhok, in 2008 and 2004, respectively.
Dr. Zekri’s research interests lie in the areas of free-boundary problems, multiphase flow, computational fluid dynamics using the OpenFOAM software, and fractional-order differential equations.
