Shamal Taha

Dr. Shamal AL-Dohuki is Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technologies. His research interests include data management and visualization, semantic data query and analytics, and data privacy and protection. Dr. AL-Dohuki has published several technical papers in reputable journals dedicated to Visualization and Computer Graphics, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Computer Graphics and Applications. He has developed open-source software tools for domain researchers, including Trajectory Analytics, NeighborVis, and GeoVisuals. Dr. AL-Dohuki has received numerous awards, including the University Fellowship, the Most Outstanding Scholar, and the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award in the Department of Computer Science at Kent State University where he obtained his Ph.D.
