 
			Lina Akram
Lecturer 
				Lina Akram is currently a faculty member in the General Education Program within the College of Arts and Sciences. She completed her M.A. in English Linguistics and Literary Studies at Linnaeus University, Sweden. Her disciplinary focus is on exploring the intricate relationship between language and literature. Lina’s research interests encompass cognitive stylistics, a field bridging linguistics, literary studies, and cognitive science, with a specific focus on Conceptual Metaphor Theory and embodiment in literary analysis.
She has previously served as an Executive Assistant in the Provost’s Office and as the Coordinator of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning (IEP).
