The Campus Services and Development Unit (CSDU) works to create a vibrant campus atmosphere, conducive to learning, living, working and playing, serving the community and enhancing the quality of campus life for students, faculty, staff and guests, through the delivery of exceptional services, programs and facilities.
CSDU supports the strategic direction of AUK and fosters an atmosphere of collaboration. It seeks to set the standard for excellence in campus life and development.
Our diverse areas of support include health and safety on campus (the well-being of students), as well as encouraging students to develop their sense of personal responsibility as consumers, citizens and leaders, while assisting in the creation of an environment that fosters academic success.
The AUK’s campus is widely admired as one of the region’s most prestigious structures for higher education. CSDU provides excellent customer service for the campus community, attracting and retaining talented staff. CSDU develops and applies innovative and efficient solutions to complex problems, securing the necessary resources for future campus growth and development, thereby enhancing the excellence of education and research at AUK.
CSDU’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Oversight of planning, design, construction and maintenance of campus buildings, grounds, utilities, infrastructure, energy sources and sustainability.
Oversight of commuter fleet, parking services, and campus mail.
Catering and hospitality.
Health and safety.
