Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq – May 16, 2019 – The American University of Kurdistan held a seminar for Dr. Bahar Armaghani, LEED faculty member of University of Florida College of Design, Construction, and Planning.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world.
In her seminar Dr. Armaghani spoke about environmental friendly and sustainable buildings to a number of students from the College of Engineering, architecture and design.
Dr. Armaghani also spoke about the future collaborations between AUK and UF and opportunities for AUK students to pursue further study at University of Florida.
College of Engineering and Architecture aims to prepare students for careers requiring high mechanical aptitude, aesthetic creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
