Annual tuition is based on the successful completion of 30 credits.
The scholarships do not apply to the ELI Program.
Fractions of the grade average will not be rounded up and any additional points given by the Ministry will not be counted toward qualification for the scholarship.
A student must be an Iraqi national who has graduated from a secondary school within the KRI or Iraq.
The student must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits or more per semester).
The student must maintain a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher to keep the scholarship. If the student’s semester GPA drops below a 3.0, then the student will lose the scholarship for the following semester and must pay full tuition, until s/he gains back a semester GPA of 3.0 (Previous semester fees paid by losing eligibility are non-refundable).
University Required Fees
Admission Deposit/Graduation Fee
$60 per semester
The admission deposit is required from all applicants (including recipients of financial aid and scholarship). The deposit will be later applied to graduation fees, or refunded once the student formally withdraws from the university.
The admission fee is non-refundable.
Residence Hall Fees
Single Room (1 student) per semester
Double Room (2 students) per semester
$800 per student
The room fees per semester (4 months) include (all/any) breaks, holidays, and weekends.
A deposit will be required for the keys of the residential hall room from students during the registration process.
Special needs students requiring accessible rooms will be charged at the double room rate.
