The mission of the Legal Office is to provide a complete range of quality legal
services to the American University of Kurdistan in an efficient, reliable,
and professional manner. This requires constant internal contact with persons
at all levels of administration of the University, including the University
President, Vice Presidents, Deans, Department Chairs, and Directors, as well as
the Board of Trustees.
In carrying out this mission, the office will provide advice, education, and counsel
on matters involving laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the University.
The Legal Office is committed to high-quality service, efficiency, courtesy, fairness,
