Keynote Title: A Framework for Implementing Educational Technology in K-12
Speaker: Irshat Madyarov
Keynote address: Teaching in a formal context often begins with a set of standards that frame the vision and give direction for its implementation. The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Students guide K-12 educators in building students’ 21-st century competencies with a focus on responsible and effective use of technological tools. ISTE standards can frame high-level curricular planning as well as guide and inspire individual teachers on how to integrate technology systematically in their day-to-day classes across different school subjects. This Keynote introduces the ISTE Standards for Students and suggests examples of their implementation in classroom settings.
