AUK Welcomes New Students for Fall Semester Orientation

The American University of Kurdistan (AUK) kicked off the fall 2024 semester with its New Student Orientation, hosted by the Office of Student Affairs on August 21-22, 2024. This two-day event introduced 60 new students to the AUK community.

The program included presentations by AUK Peer Mentors, Student Government, alumni, Student Club leaders, volunteers, staff, and faculty aiming to prepare these new students for their academic careers at AUK. Other activities including peer mentoring sessions, a mini Club Fair, games and mixers, helping students attain a sense of belonging and confidence.
