AUK to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, USA
Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq – August 05th, 2018 – The American University of Kurdistan’s Provost Dr. Nazar Numan and BoT Secretary Dr. Honar Issa, met with senior administrators of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
The two days meetings were held with the Executive Director of Global Engagement and International Programs, the Director of International Partnerships and Special Programs, Dept. Chair of Environmental Science, Dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, Director of World Languages and Cultures, as well as the Vice President for Advancement.
The discussions revolved around student exchange and internships as well as joint master degree programs, possible recruitment of academics, as well as agreeing to have faculty from both universities getting engaged in joint research programs as well implementing students’ graduation projects in both universities.
