The future of healthcare is driven by cutting-edge technologies and innovative approaches. As healthcare simulation gains increasing emphasis worldwide, The American University of Kurdistan (AUK) College of Nursing, in partnership with Clever Scientific Company, is proud to host Iraq's foremost and inaugural healthcare simulation conference on April 28 - 29 in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Following the establishment of the Nursing Skills and Simulation Lab in the College of Nursing, a state-of-the-art facility equipped through the United States Department of State Grant titled "Support for American-Style Higher Education in Iraq," AUK is now well-equipped to provide simulation-based education to the people of Iraq.
The AUK Simulation Conference, which is organized primarily by the College of Nursing, is the kick-off event to promote such education in the region. The conference will bring together experts, educators, practitioners, and enthusiasts to network, share knowledge, and gain hands-on learning experiences in a range of healthcare simulation areas. It will be a yearly occasion that unites stakeholders to exchange ideas and provide practical experiences to enhance the quality of healthcare in the region.
