Duhok, Kurdistan Region – On November 25, 2025, The Zakho Sports Club visited AUK to introduce students to the inner workings of a professional football organization. The delegation included the club’s President, Secretary, staff members, and two first-team players. The visit was organized by the AUK Student Government.
During the session, the leadership explained the Club’s structure, management approach, talent development system, and future plans. Students had the opportunity to ask questions directly, gaining valuable insights into sports management, athlete development, and career pathways in professional football.
The players also shared personal experiences, challenges, and advice for aspiring athletes. The visit concluded with a meet-and-greet and photo session, fostering informal conversations and networking. The event reflects the Student Government’s commitment to connecting students with real-world organizations, expanding career possibilities, building strong community partnerships, ,and building spirit and pride for the Kurdistan Region.
