Duhok, Kurdistan Region – The American University of Kurdistan (AUK) is proud to announce that Ahmed Othman, one of its top students in the Petroleum Engineering Program, has been selected to participate in the OTC Asia 2026 Energy Education University Program. The event will take place from March 31 to April 2, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Mr. Othman was nominated in August 2025 under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Namuq, Faculty Advisor of the AUK Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Chapter.
This unique Program offers participants the opportunity to engage with peers from across the world, attend specialized workshops, and network with leading energy companies seeking top talent. All expenses including the flights, accommodation, and visa fees are fully covered.
