AUK Open House 2024: Students Starting on their Path to Excellence

On November 9, 2024, the American University of Kurdistan (AUK) hosted an Open House event, welcoming high school students and parents to explore the campus, learn about academic programs, and participate in activities. The event aimed to increase awareness and interest among prospective students. The Open House attracted over 450 participants.

The event began with a welcome ceremony and an energizing introduction to the University, complete with trivia and institutional fast facts. Students then visited presentations by the academic departments that showcased the programs along with student projects.

AUK’s Open House offered students a chance to connect with faculty and get a sense of daily life on the campus of the University. The Director of the Admission and Registration Department, Mr. Ibrahim Hussein remarked, “Thank you for making our Open House such a memorable event! Your energy and curiosity made the day unforgettable.”
