AUK Hosts Third Job Fair to Bridge Graduates to Regional Companies

On April 29, 2025, the American University of Kurdistan (AUK) hosted its third Annual Job Fair in the Mustafa Barzani Building, connecting students and alumni with 37 companies from Erbil, Duhok, and Zakho. The fair offered direct access to job, internship, and volunteering opportunities, strengthening the link between education and employment.

A key improvement this year required all participating companies to provide current vacancies, ensuring representatives offered clear next steps for attendees. Students engaged with employers, explored career pathways, and gained insights into industry expectations.

To gauge the Job Fair’s impact, companies will complete a follow-up form to provide feedback, record booth visits, and report applications. The insights will help shape future events.

The event was supported by 10 sponsors, including Mselect, SABIS, Met Steel, Empire, Kurdistan Foundation, Serdar Group, Altunsa, Gulf Keystone, Nestlé Middle East, and United Education.
