The Board of Trustees of AUK consists of seventeen (17) members (one emeritus), including the President, who are all prominent figures in government, business, and education, and whose primary responsibility is to oversee the University’s academics, finances, and operations. The majority of the Board’s work is accomplished through committees, including the Executive Committee, the Academic and Student Affairs Committee, the Advancement Committee, the Communication Committee, the Facilities Committee, the Finance and Administration Committee, the Genera Audit and Risk Committee, and the Trusteeship Committee. During the academic year, the full Board meets twice, while committees meet multiple times depending on University business.
