Meet Our Alumni Heji Ihsan Abdullah B.Sc. Computer Software and Security Graduated in 2020
In January 2015, Heji began his journey at AUK. At first, he was hesitant to enroll in computer software. However, after visiting the College at AUK and talking to friends, they convinced him to study information technology. During his studies, he also completed numerous courses in business administration and design. “I have very fond memories of my college days. I had great friends and faculty as a support system, as well as beneficial trips and fun parties”. Heji completed an internship at Korek Telecom’s headquarters in Erbil, an experience that helped him enormously in his studies. It was also his first experience of living a fully independent lifestyle, since it was the first time that he lived outside Duhok. He had to depend entirely on himself for the first time. Heji’s self-motivation and love for challenge were key components in helping him graduate with solid grades. Currently, Heji lives in Duhok and works as an IT Specialist at Waar TV. |
