International Students

International Student Requirements

Students whom have graduated within a system of education different than the KRG or Iraq can apply as international. There are two types of international applicants: 1) HS graduates from an internationally recognized school within the KRG; 2) HS graduates from outside of the KRG or Iraq.

International Schools within the KRG

Any student who has graduated from an international high school within the KRG or Iraq must provide the following a letter of equalization from Ministry of Education (ME). The letter of equalization from the ME will include the equalized score. The equalized % score is used for acceptance. Below are the % requirements.

International Schools outside of the KRG

Students who have graduated high school from outside the KRG and Iraq need to provide the following:

  1. High school transcript
  2. SAT or another international standard exam such as IGCSE.
