The bachelor’s degrees at AUK involve four years study, except for Architectural Engineering which takes five years. The bachelor degree is awarded upon completion of 120-130 credits. Architectural Engineering requires the completion of 150-160 credits. The undergraduate credit scale for courses is as follows:
Letter Grade | Numerical Grade | Grade Points (GP) |
---|---|---|
A | 90 – 100 | 4 |
B+ | 85 – 89 | 3.33 |
B | 80 – 84 | 3.0 |
C+ | 75 – 79 | 2.67 |
C | 70 – 74 | 2.0 |
D+ | 65 – 69 | 1.67 |
D | 60 – 64 | 1.0 |
F | Less than 60 | 0.00 |
In order for a student to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, his/her cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) should be at least 2.0 and above. Students who have less than 2.0 GPA will not graduate, and they will need to take extra courses until their GPA reaches the required threshold for graduation.
The AUK reserves the right to revise the programs’ study plans. Nevertheless, any alteration done to the study plans by the respective academic departments will strongly consider that students not be burdened by extra credit hours of study or extended period of study for degree completion.
