Dr. Susie Chen, DNP, MN, MAT, RN, FNP, NP-C, came from Los Angeles, California. She is a Doctoral Prepared Registered Nurse in the State of California and a National Certified Nurse Practitioner in the U.S. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and Family Nurse Practitioner education at Western University of Health Sciences in California. Before that, she also received her Master in Nursing degree as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Oklahoma City University.

She is an experienced nursing educator and a tenured nursing professor in the college of nursing. She is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing as “Instructor”, “Assistant Director”, and “Director”. She has been teaching various levels of nursing education in the U.S., including graduate and undergraduate colleges, and vocational level of nursing education. Besides that, she also has more than 9 years of experience as a Nursing Director in academia professional nursing programs in California and led the nursing program passed through two accreditation with good outcomes. She is specialized in nursing program administration, curricula development, program evaluation plan, and policies and procedure.

Dr. Chen’s clinical background is majorly related to medical, surgical, and telemetry when she worked as a staff nurse and charge nurse and with administrator experience in acute care hospital and long-term care facility.”
