Agwu Okechukwu, Ph.D.

Associate Professor, Business

Dr. Mba Okechukwu Agwu is an Associate Professor at the College of Business, American University of Kurdistan, Duhok. He studied management at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka at the Ph.D. level, specializing in Oil and Gas management. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON). He is a research fellow at the American Association of International Researchers (AAIR). He has so far authored three business management textbooks and published several peer-reviewed research articles in both local academic and international Journals. He has varied teaching experiences spanning over sixteen years both locally in Nigeria and internationally. Also, has over twelve years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, especially at the Bonny Liquefied Natural Gas Plant and the Bonny Shell Terminal Expansion Project. He is a human resource development consultant for Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund and Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) Bonny Island, Nigeria. He loves reading, football, and Dancing. He is married with three children.
