On Tuesday December 2nd the American University Duhok Kurdistan (AUK) invited students for the first day of orientation in the Malta building. The Student Orientation lasted three days and the AUK students were divided into three groups. Students got to learn many new things to be expected at AUK. The orientation started with general information about the AUK student program including the English Immersion Program, Student Support Center, Student IT matters and details about the American Curriculum.
The welcoming speech and AUK student program were followed by a guided tour throughout the AUK Campus. Students had the opportunity to take a look at the new building expected to be opened by March 2015 and ask questions about all the facilities which will be available to students when transferred to the AUK Campus in Semeel.

After lunch, the AUK staff organized Ice breaker activities - to break the ice between students and knowing one another a little better, bowling at Mazi Plus Mall and as promised, one student won a Samsung tab 3 at the end of each Student Orientation day.
