The Chairman’s Scholarship for Leadership in Excellence
A high-quality institution thrives with a diversified, dedicated, and highly capable student body. The American University of Kurdistan (AUK) is committed to academic and ethical excellence. This Scholarship is intended to attract the best and brightest students who have what it takes be successful at AUK.
Terms and Conditions
The Chairman’s Scholarship for Leadership in Excellence (CSLE) requires all students to study full time at AUK and maintain an Academic CGPA of 2.5 throughout the course of their academic studies at AUK.
In the event, that a student’s Academic CGPA falls below 2.5 then he/she will automatically be put on probation and be given a window of opportunity of 30 credits to raise his/her academic CGPA to 2.5 or above.
However, if the student fails to raise his/her Academic CGPA to 2.5 or above, over the span of the probation period consisting of 30 credits, then the student will be automatically disqualified from the CSLE.
Once the student is disqualified from the CSLE, the student is then only permitted to continue their course of academic studies at AUK on the basis that they fund their academic studies independently.
Lastly, a student is only provided one probationary period throughout their academic studies which means their CGPA must not fall under 2.5 upon successfully raising their CGPA to 2.5 or above during their first period of probation.
English Language Institute
Students on the CSP studying English at the ELI are only permitted to fail examinations two times (overall) during the entire course of their studies; no matter the entrance level at the ELI.
At any given time, should a student fail any given exam (given the maximum number of only two permitted failures per student) the student is fully responsible to pay for the retakes of that particular exam independently. The CSP will not provide any financial allowance for any retakes of examinations.
Moreover, if a student fails for the third time, during their course studies at the ELI, the student will be automatically disqualified from receiving the CSP.
