Department of Architectural Engineering
The Department of Architectural Engineering curriculum provides an integrated educational program including courses in solid mathematics, basic sciences, soft skill general education, engineering sciences, and architectural engineering and design. The Architectural Engineering program integrates engineering and architectural design applications across the curriculum, beginning with mechanics of materials in the sophomore year, continuing with building design studios, architecture technologies, and structural design in years 3-5. A degree in architectural engineering will prepare students for careers as professional architectural engineers, design experts, and in other related fields requiring advanced knowledge of structural engineering.
