The Department of Interior Design’s BA curriculum integrates theory, design, and technology conjointly with the standards of the industry. Our students develop the requisite intellectual, artistic, and ethical abilities necessary for professional practice. The Interior design curriculum is structured to teach essential basics but our teaching methodology is committed to an interdisciplinary innovative approach, our program challenges our students to be creative leaders in the field.
As a student you will be challenged to push boundaries, think boldly and design responsibly and effectively, our faculty of industry experts will give you the space and support to do it. You will be encouraged to create dynamic interiors through the use of innovative approaches to spatial organization that help elevate what matters in today’s economy. Furthermore, to work in Collaborations “open innovation” and convergence, as a means to innovate.
Situated in peaceful Duhok and AUK’s modern educational environment, the range of studios, lectures, workshops and seminars provides an active learning environment in which individual creativity can be nurtured.
The program is continually evolving to engage new ways of thinking about internal spaces, intersecting the relationships between spatial design, building technology, computation, and the history, theory and criticism of art and design.
