Environmental Science is interdisciplinary scientific perspective that deals with environmental and sustainability issues. This study involves the application of physical, biological and ecological sciences into the environment. The main aim is that human needs are met in a sustainable way and that everyone has the right to have clean air, clean water and resources for industry and agriculture. Some of the main applications of environmental science include pollution control, resource recovery and conducting environmental impact assessments of human activity especially in the operation of major agricultural, industrial or natural resources exploitation projects.
In general, career environmentalists play a major role in every aspect of life in today’s modern world. They make sure that we have a clean environment for a better public health, and that we cater for the needs of the present day civilization without depriving future generations from the ability to meet their own needs for a good life style.
